ABOUT US

rogatesboutique was founded in early 2020 by a mom and dad to be. What started from absolutely nothing grew into a tiny e-commerce boutique that we ran from our home, and has now rapidly grown into a private label brand that is housed in our new studio space. Our aim has always been to offer adorable, comfortable, and of course, neutral pieces for your littles.

Since starting our shop we have also welcomed our little girl into the world, (who is now somehow already a toddler?!) so when you receive a package from rogatesboutique, you are receiving a package that has passed through the hands of our little family of three (especially our babe’s because when we are packing she loves grab them and run).

All pieces are currently designed and shipped (in biodegradable mailers) from our studio in New Jersey. If you are in the Morris County area we would love to have you stop by to see our studio, and see our pieces in person if you are considering shipping with us! We also offer curbside pickup which we typically have ready in just a couple hours.

ABOUT OUR PRODUCTION HOUSE

We have officially launched our own private label, and we couldn't be more excited.

We are proud to say that our production house complies with SGS, ASTM, and WRAP standards which means you can be sure that all pieces are fair trade and ethically produced which was extremely important to us when choosing our production team. Our pieces are all lovingly made by the best team ever in Yiwu, China, who we were connected to through a good friend of mine. Why China and not the USA? The main factor in our decision is based on the fact that when we chose to rebrand into a private label, the USA was locked down, while other countries were opening back up. Included in that, having all production in one area makes the process a lot smoother — fabric, packaging, and clothing production comes from one place, so while we don’t try to manufacture ‘cheaply’ to cut our costs, we do save on the back end by not having to ship each separate part between companies which can add up quickly. While Chinese production has a bad reputation lately, please keep in mind that not all Chinese production houses are sweat shops, this is why we don’t sell products at €10 price points (like you see with a lot of boutiques), because our cost of manufacturing is at a fair trade standard!
